It is my “privilege through the years to visit and teach many individuals” – Thomas S. Monson

I “prepare [my]selves to give whatever . . . service the Lord may set before [me]” – Henry B. Eyring

Probably the best example of good leadership found in the Book of Mormon and the proper type of motivation we should require in our leaders comes from King Benjamin. In short, the best leaders are the one’s who serve

“use all of the marvelous gifts [God] has provided” – Jeffrey R. Holland

“[I] can do it now!” – President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

“be humble and obedient and have the ability to hear and follow the Spirit” – Elder Randy D. Funk

“In this Church there are no strangers and no outcasts. There are only brothers and sisters.” – Bishop Gérald Caussé

“be anxiously engaged in bringing the message of the Restoration [to] all of the world” – Elder M. Russell Ballard

“Each article of faith adds unique value to our understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ” – Elder L. Tom Perry

One of my favorite book of Mormon characters is Captain Moroni. He is an inspiration to those of us who desire to stand up for freedom, truth and defending one’s country from enemies, evildoers and conspirators.
