Jack’s Canyon Road, Sedona, Arizona

Jack’s Canyon Road was once a route through Jack’s Canyon from the Village of Oak Creek to Schnebly Hill Road, but today is actually split in half by Munds Mountain Wilderness Area.

This documented off-road trail is not about the paved road within the city, but the one at the top of the Canyon along the southern edge of Schnebly Hill. This portion of the road is a rocky dirt off-road trail with some moderate challenges. It is also becoming overgrown in some areas due to the light use it sees. Getting to the end of the road, followed by a short hike provides some excellent views of Jack’s Canyon from the top of the Mogollon Rim. You’ll also get a good view of Munds Mountain Wilderness Area, which provide a nice view of rock faces and green forests.
