Escaping Traffic as an Accident Shuts Down Loop 202 in Tempe Arizona

Escaping a nearly complete traffic shutdown as an accident blocks most of the lanes on westbound loop 202 in Tempe, Arizona.

The Waze app on my phone warns me too late about traffic, and I cannot get off before passing the accident that is causing the backup. Being in an off-road capable rig, however, gives me an advantage to get off the freeway anyway.
